Llama John's Bears (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a small, family-run studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@llamajohnsbears.com.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and shipping address so we can fulfill the order and reach you about it. We also store the details of what you ordered (product, add-ons, personalization, the notes you wrote about the clothing).
Payment information: Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and are never transmitted through or stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation that payment was successful and a non-sensitive reference ID.
Email delivery: Order confirmations and status updates are sent through Resend.
Shipping: Shipping labels are generated through Shippo using the address you provide at checkout.
How we use it
We use your information only to:
- Make and ship your keepsake
- Send you order confirmations and shipping updates
- Answer questions you send us
- Keep records required for tax and accounting
We do not sell your information. We do not run ads on this site. We do not share your information with third parties except for the service providers above (Stripe, Resend, Shippo), who only see what they need to do their job.
The clothing you send us
We treat the physical clothing you mail in with the same care as your data. We only use it to make what you ordered. We do not photograph or share images of your clothing outside the studio without your written permission.
Cookies and analytics
Our site uses browser storage to remember your cart contents between page loads. This is essential to the site working and doesn't require consent.
We also use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people find useful. This is the only third-party analytics tool on the site. We do not run advertising cookies and we do not build profiles of individual visitors.
If you're visiting from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we show you a consent banner on your first visit and Google Analytics doesn't load unless you accept. Everywhere else, Google Analytics loads by default. If you want to opt out at any time, clear your browser storage for this site or use a privacy extension like uBlock Origin.
Your choices
You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@llamajohnsbears.com from the address on your order and we'll handle it within a reasonable time.
Note that we may need to keep some information to meet our accounting and tax obligations even after you ask us to delete it.
Children
Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as our business changes. We'll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date.
